I'm sorry if I'm writing in English but my Dutch is still not so good. I've signed in for ADSL Lite and the connection should now be ready. But I'm experiencing problems with my ADSL USB Modem. My modem is "Speedstream 4060" (I had it already), my OS is Windows XP Home Edition. The light of the modem is solid green so I think that the connection is ready to be used. I would like to know which dialing code or number shall I put in order to make a manual connection to your server. I think it should be something like "P8,35" or "P0,100", but I do not know the meaning of such codes, I just know that my modem needs something like this in the dialing number field in order to connect. Thank you so much in advance for your kind help, I'm really getting frustrated and I would like to take advantage of the subscription.
Thanks, Tiziano |

| I think that the dialing number for USB modem connections is a one digit number but I'm not sure. Maybe somebody who's using an USB modem in combination with Wanadoo ADSL Lite can tell what is suposed to be used. |

On this page: http://www.tnweb.com/support/dsl4060chart.php I found this:
In Win 98 First Edition, the phone number will be ENI 200064FFFFFFFF000CDFB6B1D0 In Win 98SE to Win ME, the phone number will be SpeedStream ADSL In Win 2000 to Win XP, the phone number will be P0,100 Users are reminded NEVER to temper with the numbers. These are encrypted special numbers provided for ADSL Connection and they differ from the normal 56K dial-up number.
So I would just try P0,100 and see if it works. I guess it is something that has to do with the modemdrivers and not really with the ISP, but I could be wrong... If it doesn't work, you could try P8,48 too.
Also, don't forget to enter your username and password correctly. The username normally has some kind of suffix, depending on the provider. I guess in your case that would be something like "@wanadoo-lite". Not sure, but something like that...just look it up. Also keep in mind that username and password are probably case-sensitive. |
